Our lovely son...

...no, this isn't our son, this is a juvenile black headed gull. Anyway, as I was saying, our lovely son gave his Dad a present of dinner bed and breakfast for two at the Lodge on Loch Lomond for his birthday in July. I told the Prof he should feel free to take someone more interesting, but he seemed to think he'd like to take me. Given the clogged up nature of our diaries, this was the first window we had and we've even got a verandah overlooking the Loch, though the Prof refused to eat dinner on it, the wimp. I have champed the champers, walked the beach, harassed the black headed gulls, swum the pool, dined the diner and am about to the drag birthday boy to bed. Oh gosh, that didn't come out right- must stay away from champagne in future.
