Cheesecake?

I had my my bi-weekly dinner with my friends family tonight. While making gyoza and this pumpkin "cheesecake," I was helping the youngest brother, my former student, study for his English exam.

But the cake... It was good and it involved cream cheese but I wouldn't call it a cheese cake. The base is normal flour, eggs, etc them also some pre- cooked kabocha, a sweet squash. Then once it was poured into the pan, we added cubed of cream cheese and cooked it as is, so there were just clumps of cream cheese. I think it would be fine without the cream cheese at all.
