Peterhouse Chapel.

Named after Peter the Apostle, Peterhouse is the oldest college in Cambridge, established in 1284. Parts of the original building are still in use. This view looking across Old Court shows the Chapel, built in the Laudian Gothic style, mixed with Renaissance details, 1632. The Peterhouse Part Books, Music Manuscripts from the early days of the Chapel, still survive and the Tudor and Jacobean music is now regularly performed by the choir. Some of the music had not been heard since the 16th century. I have seen these performances advertised and would really like to hear the old music.
