Botswana #2
A very early start today as we de-camped and set off on the long road again, heading along the west side of the Okavango Delta, to the Etshas. We then exchanged our vehicle for a 4WD, that took us along the very sandy road to Guma Lagoon and our campsite by the water's edge.
Along the way we saw some small deer and plenty of birdlife. This is a Lilac Breasted Roller, the national bird of Botswana. Very pretty sitting on it's branch, but beautiful turquoise and black in flight. Wasn't quick enough to capture that!
