Successfully upgraded

To iOS7 without any glitches like most people have seemed to have. Especially back in the UK. First impressions are good. Some great features, some pointless and a lot more drain on the battery no doubt.

Got a tidy result at work today. Some antibodies I got off my old boss worked when I was staining my tissue samples. Not a great advance for my project but nice to know my hunch worked. And my newly acquired skills are up to scratch.

Sat through the grad students lab meeting shaking my head. His data is sketchy at best yet the boss is fascinated by it and thinks it's the real deal. I can't believe its true and it's annoying as because of this data, I need to look "more closely" at my work. I can't see what is not there.

Career fair tomorrow. Looks like the prospective employers are sub par at best and very random/not what my career aspirations are. But I am in the mindset of firing my resume out to as many people as possible in the hope that someone bites! Got rejected for a job at lily about 3 hours after i applied. Good to get closure and not wonder if it's got lost somewhere or if anyone actually looked at it. But disappointing all the same.
