A different view

How grown up does my boy look in this picture? He's only 8 months old for gods sake! He needs to stop rushing to grow up haha.

Despite the pretty abysmal weather, we walked to Crouch End for Charlie's swimming lesson today. I met Emily, Kelly and the boys on the New River path then we caught the bus to the bottom of Muswell Hill and walked the rest in the pouring rain.

Typically because I was looking forward to the warmth of the baby pool it was actually a lot cooler today. Charlie didn't seem to mind though and enjoyed his lesson as before. And as before he got cranky and tired when it was over. He was asleep as soon as his head hit the pushchair and we started our walk to Monkeynuts again for lunch.

Afterwards everyone came back to mine and the boys all played in the playroom. They're so sweet together now they're all crawling here, there and every where. Dylan throws himself around as he can't quite crawl yet and Oscar does the same- though he has more weight to throw.

I got the big camera out and took a load of shots but had to use this post-play image of Charlie stood against the settee as today's blip. He's pulled himself up and looked very proud of that fact. Just this morning I'd spied him 'walking' using the futon in the room as his cruising aid.
