The art supplies shop in Midland runs occasional courses and today's was using gold leaf.
Not only was there a gilded rabbit but hints and tips on using gold leaf (including the real McCoy at 23carats and tissue thin) on paper, canvas and glowing on a range of media.
Exquisite.

Sharon, manager of the store is a fantastic artist and she runs the classes.
The first exhibition I saw was a show of her paintings inspired by the animals that arrived on the 11 ships of the First Fleet in January 1788.
Each animal was portrayed full size and beautifully painted.
Her second show was of the first animals in Perth Zoo, also full size!
