Until We Meet Again

I got back from Vancouver today and went straight to work. Finished around 9pm, and then headed to the lounge and played some scattergories. Maddie and I won, obviously.

Afterwards me, Maddie, Keith and Gordon had a pool tournament, and I came dead last, naturally. While I'm not exactly a pool shark I can usually hold my own, which is why I blame my poor performance on the cheap vodka Maddie and I had been steadily drinking all night.

After pool, we played a couple intense games of donkey, and just all around had a good time. Around 2 something or other am, Maddie and I left the boys smoking outside and headed to the cage for some snacks. We quickly realized that I still had my mom's keys dangling from Maddie's coat, so we made our way into the kitchen and raided the cooler (sorry Lauren). Although to be fair, eating random pieces of BBQ chicken, cold ham and some homemade macaroons isn't exactly raiding.

We sat in the kitchen for almost an hour, just having good girly talks. I'm really going to miss this girl - it's been so nice to have someone here that I can talk to about pretty much anything. I have a feeling our paths will cross again soon though!
