swanning around..

..on the Swan River.

No power in our street today and the place chockers with bods drilling holes for new power poles, so packed up the 'pop up' office and 30 minutes later popped up in my favourite comfy chair at the Uni Club overlooking the river.

A couple of hours of work, lunch and then a mosey by the river that was equally chockers with black swans preening on the river beach and cavorting on the water.
It must be mating time as there was a lot of feather fluffing, chasing and showing off..the blokes no doubt, as the gals were lolling on the sand, preening and pretending to be bored!

A beautiful, warm spring day and a perfect place to spend a couple of hours walking, eating ice cream,blipping swans and yes I must admit to dozing in the sun.
