First Day of School

Today my grandson started kindergarten. I can still remember my own children starting school and strangely, it doesn't seem all that long ago. I can remember like yesterday, the day my grandson was born. It is amazing to me that he is 5 years old already.
His dad, my son, was not very willing to start school himself. I remember having to tell him that I would be sitting in my car right outside the school in order for him to let go of me and go inside with the teacher. Oh the fun days, I remember them well!
My grandson did great! No tears, no drama. I chose this photo because of the 'thumbs up' he is giving us. He was okay and letting us know it. **whew**

In other news. I received a surprise in the mail today! A postcard from a very nice Blip Friend, KarenC! You must check out this postcard of Brighton Pier she sent. It is so beautiful. Thank you so much Karen. I really loved it!

I have been moving in slow motion for the past few days so I apologize if I haven't responded to comments yet. I will. I keep running out of time lately. Thank you for all of your great comments on my photo with Harry Connick Jr. It was a blast!
