the cellar door was open i could never stay away
Last day in Tana and in Madagascar! After a somewhat lazy morning, we checked out of our hotel and headed to the Marche de la Digue to do some shopping. I had forgotten how much I love haggling!! Got some really cool lil things too - place mats, baobab trees, photo frames and the most beautiful baskets too - we kept admiring how lovely they were every time we caught sight of them!
Ended up in Cafe Colbert where we spent a couple of hours drinking tea and eating cake. Nice.
In the evening, Helene's sister (who lives in Madagascar) invited us to go out to Cafe de la Gare with her and some of her friends, which was a great way to spend the evening before heading to the airport for our return flight back to Europe...
