a summer ending

This is the ceiling at the 4th terminal at Barajas airport in Madrid. I've always liked it, but it does seem one of those airports that just looks too big for the number of people that uses it. You always have to walk for ages to get anywhere and there are always loads of sections that are absolutely empty, which makes it seem a bit ghostly at times. The ceiling changes colour as you walk through the terminal. This is the yellow section, which has been my favouritest colour this summer. However, leaving Spain and coming back to London really underlines the end of summer for me. Goodbye 40ºC sunshine, flip flops and watermelons.
