red and green

I've blipped the Kangaroo Paw (Aginozanthos manglesii) before but seeing them slowly unfurling in the bush is always such a treat...so here it is again!
This beauty is tucked away off the bush track so I'm looking forward to watching its progress as the paws and claws open up over the next few days and weeks.

A fabulous, sun bright day.
The hound and I are rediscovering a walk not visited for some months and it is proving a real treat with abundant wildflowers and some very noisy cockatoos.
I think they may be nesting and/or raising young as they are in the same tree every day.
