Old Faithful

I have driven 500 miles today. We went to Yellowstone Park. There are four entrances to the park and trust me to have to go to the furthest one. I wanted to see Old Faithful.

Old Faithful is a geyser which erupts every 90 minutes. The eruption lasts up to 5 minutes and expels 8,000 gallons of boiling water 100 feet into the air. It was an amazing sight and well worth the drive.

We also saw Mammoth Hot Springs. There was some strange rock formations. The smell wasn't too pleasant.

Yellowstone has the largest collection of geysers in the world.

Apart from the geysers I saw buffalo and antelopes. The antelopes were bathing in a river. The buffalo were just grazing by the side of the road.

The drive was spectacular. We were surrounded by mountains and rivers. Once again I can't believe what I've seen today. X
