A Trip Down The River

Today we went into Wyoming. It took about two hours to drive there. I didn't do the driving. We were picked up by our lovely friends and they took us. They have a boat. It's a river boat and its very speedy.

We went to a river called The Bighorn. It's in a canyon. It's was so beautiful. We met another very nice couple who also had a boat and were friends of our friends. Off we went down the river together. We must have driven the boat for an hour when we stopped and got off for a swim. I was looking up at the huge rocks at the side of us when I saw vultures. They were flying above us. Awesome!

We got back in the boat went further up the river and found somewhere a little more secluded and shaded. We jumped in again...including the dog who was on the other boat. We got back on the boat and headed back out into the sunshine moored up one more time and had a picnic lunch.

Then it was time to turn back. We sped back racing the other boat and they let me take control of our boat. It was fantastic. What a race we had. Crossing each other, catching the waves and making it a very bumpy ride...but we won!

What a day I've had yet again. So full if fun. I keep thinking I'll wake up and it's all been a dream.
