Hi there! I'm just so happy!!!!

We never made it to the Boulder Mall today. We spent the day working on what we are calling the "great renovation" of the Colorado house.

Since we don't live here, we have to do this in pieces, carefully scheduling workmen, etc. But when we are here, we are working night and day coordinating, going through the mountains of "stuff", organizing, etc. Many times we have thought that we would not survive this. (And in the meantime, I am also doing work for my clients, etc. - yes it's a crazy life).

But we are beginning to see progress. Another few weeks, and most of it will be done - we hope, anyway. Unfortunately, no matter where we turn, we find a "surprise". This week's surprise was to find that the refrigerator was not functioning properly. So we spent the day trying to find a refrigerator that will fit in the old kitchen.

As a reward for our hardwork, we went out with some friends.

But, after all that today, I took a number of great shots. But the one that really spoke to me tonight were the happy faces of the petunias in the garden. They won't be with us much longer with the cooler nights. So I thought I would capture them now. For today, I will put my street photography challenge on hold, and leave you with this.
