So, today, on a whim, we decided to take the train into town & check out some of the Edinburgh Art Festival 'stuff' before it all closes tomorrow. We had heard that there was some tremendous musical thing just off the High Street & thought we'd seek it out.

What we found was Sarah Kenchington's Wind Pipes for Edinburgh which is truly ace & if you have the chance to go inflate, twiddle and parp - then you should really take it.

She makes musical instruments from discarded material. This peice is made from more than 200 decommissioned organs and requires you to inflate bellows in order to create sound.
