Picking your own ... for actual free

Musselburgh has its own little veg plot by the bridge which anyone can go to and pick stuff and eat stuff, for free.

Kids love it. Well, they like picking stuff . Yesterday we picked random leaves. The girls were very excited. We came home, we chopped, we 'wilted' (i.e. fried) in butter. They declared them 'disgusting'.

Kale, chard & rocket I think.

I rather liked them myself :)
