Crow steps

A blip friend once told me that a photographer in the city should always looks up occasionally, and it's good advice. I saw this view of the old Scottish "crow-step" gable ends from my hotel window, amid all the horrible modern skyline in the centre of Inverness. From the ground, by the restaurant, it is possible to wonder what the skyline looked like before the newer buildings crowded them out...
