Market Steps

One of the interesting things about a city is the little lanes, closes, and back-passages linking the streets. They often have an interesting history of their own. This is looking down the Market Steps in Inverness, a side-cutting of the High Street and a short-cut to my accommodation over the last couple of days. I am heading down the steps because I am heading home... after a visit to the bookshop!
