South Coast Scribblings

Ready for planting....

We bought a number of pots of Dianthus from the garden centre on Tuesday as our geraniums have stopped flowering and the garden is looking a bit sad. At least these will add a bit of colour.

Not feeling 100% today - just feel achy and tired. It came on yesterday around teatime and I fell asleep on the sofa, and went to bed at 9.30. Hope it's just a 24 hour thing, but I have said I probably won't be at Art tomorrow - especially as I'm meant to be going to a funeral in the afternoon if at all possible. It's for the sister of a lovely lady who attends our church - her sister lived in New Zealand and has had terminal cancer. Her and her husband visited the sister a month ago, and she knew she wouldn't see them again. So they're having a memorial service over here for all her British relatives. A lovely idea. I've offered to lead the singing for one of the songs that will be less well known to her relatives ("The Lord's my Shepherd" modern version).

Going to watch the highlights of Andy Murray's match at 3 pm. and just rest for most of the remainder of the day as I really want to be well for tomorrow! Hope everyone else is feeling okay today. It's a nice sunny one again today.
