Beckside

Our regular Tuesday night golfing was an "away day" this week and we were at Beckside Golf Club which is affectionately referred to as Royal Crook.

It's a lovely little course which is run and maintained by just two people - no mean feat. We were fortunate enough to have the owner himself amongst us but sadly he wasn't in my group so I couldn't pick up any insider info!

This was the view from the highest point of the course which is the fourth green - a really tough hole!

Sadly, that isn't my ball next to the pin...
