Bank Holiday Monday?

God bless the banks and their sporadic sabbaticals throughout the year.

On the day that work started on our kitchen and it was torn asunder, we upped sticks and temporarily moved through to our Ambleside residence (Hutch's mum and dads house).

This is the view from their back garden which is stunning on most days, but on a gorgeous, cloudless day it really is something else.

We made the most of the weather and wandered down to the lake and had chocolate dip ice creams with double flakes.

It may just have been the greatest day of my life.
