A special place.

This is Achnahaird beach or what remains of it at high tide.

A beautiful morning and after breakfast we took the short walk down here to watch the tide coming in and dogs and people at play.

In the background is the double hump of Ben an Eoin and the plateau of Ben More Coigach.

The young couple on the beach reminded me of our own newly weds returning today from their honey moon. It was on this beach that they got engaged 15 months ago - so a very special place.

Spent the rest of the day chilling in the garden reading and sewing and having an odd 'glass' or two. Lovely!
