Church glass
Today we went for a bike ride. It wasn't long, just over 15 km, but it was nice and unlike yesterday it was dry. After the bike ride we went into two to try one of the many creperies - but the one with the best menu and lots of awards was fully booked (though empty when we arrived - but the French are weird and eat far too late). We tried a nondescript creperie on the other side of the square. The service was painfully slow and it was quite cold sitting outside waiting - but the meal was fine.
Afterwards we went back to the tent and moved our wet clothes about on the line hoping that they would dry in the wind and sun - and taking thing off the line every time it decided to rain.
The weather forecast was was more rain for the rest of the week, so we decided to call it quits and take the train back home on the Monday. One wet day isn't too bad, but constant rain makes it very hard to get things dry in a small tent and eventually you run out of dry things to wear and that's not so nice.
We came unstuck and SNCF have sold all the available bike reservations for Monday, so we had to buy tickets for Tuesday instead. After buying the tickets we went for a walk around the village - it was quite sunny and warm by the late afternoon. Today's blip is some the coloured glass in the second church which is higher up the hill in the village than the one on the main square.
