Tuscan Villa

Today was a lovely quiet day where aside from a trip to Esselunga (the local Supermarket) to stock up on essentials (prosseco etc and 110 euro later) and La Farmacia for G2 who has come down with the lurgy, we have lazed around the Villa, had lunch outside under the marquee, swum, read and had a deightful day.  I took this shot around midday when the clouds were drifting past leaving shadows on the olives and the hills behind were a pale blue.

We have the opera tomorrow night and are being transported there.  It is outdoors and so far the weather forecast looks good.   We are about to head off to a local ristorante with very good reviews.   I will report back tomorrow.
