Tuscan Sunset

Today we went back into Lucca and had another look around.   We went to the Puccini museum which was fortuitous as we saw Puccini's Manon Lescaut at the Gran Teatro Puccini near Viareggio this evening.   It didn't finish until after 1 am.  Crikey those Italians, I admire their stamina for opera.  We had a driver transport us in a black mercedes van which made it so much easier than driving and then trying to find a park.  While it was an experience, that particular opera did not resonate with me. It had quite a strange set, like a De Chirico.  The moon is nearly full and was rising over the stage.  Such a beautiful setting on the lake.  I have put some up in the extras.

Before we left I took the sunset.  I wonder if that Mountain is Monte Prana.
