Fist time at work for the autumn season. Kalmar Theatre in all its glory.The facade was renovated two years ago, the foyer last year and next year is time for the inside and for the stage equipment to be renovated. Then it will be Swedens best preserved theatre of its time, still in use.
On my way to the theatre I pass this old water tower, now flats, and the old West gate to the city, part of the old city wall, also newly renovated. It was a lovely morning as you can see, about half past seven. September looks very promising so far, one of my favourite months.
