A day in the life

Fastood

I fed the heaps of grass cuttings from yesterdays mowing to the cows this morning. They really enjoyed that. It must be the cow-equivalent to fast food, the don't have to walk around to bite it off the ground neither need they chew it very much. They just come to the table when it's served, it's finished in a jiffy. For me it's a luxury not having to do anything with the grass, just feed it to the processors and it's taken care of.

The lavender was also cut short today, as I was told to do. I made bunts of the cuttings and have hung it in various places indoors for the scent to spread. Lovely.
