Nature's Complexity
This was taken late afternoon in the garden, as the last of the sunlight came between the houses. We expected more rain today, but in the end there were only a few light showers.
I'd started the day with a swim, then spent a couple of hours hollow tining the lawns. They are both in very poor condition after the summer, now confirmed as the warmest on record. It is the first time I have been able to get the tines into the ground, but even now the soil they are bringing up as plugs is bone dry. Hopefully, if we do get some rain it will be able to penetrate more easily. I need to oversee and cover to revive the front lawn in particular.
