Ynysypandy Slate Mill

Today I had my trip to Lake ValleyValleyLake (Llyn Cwmystradllyn).

I had a lunchtime snack at the lovely little tea room by the reservoir, I'm not sure, but I may have been their only customer today.

On the way back I stopped at the Ynysypandy Slate Mill, a very impressive piece of architecture, though its working life was rather short due to the quality of the local slate.

I've had a play with this shot, though it is far from being a finished image, I need to be at home on my desktop setup to do this justice.
