Guess what I’m doing?

I have had a busy day doing washing, gardening and also a long (for me) walk while I chatted to isbi on the phone. Now I’m going to read for awhile to catch my breath.

I started this book a week ago but found it hard to get into because the author tells a bit of a story then comes in to talk about the real people she has interviewed about these times. It is mixed up with quotes and recipes and even a poem. However it is a real story about life in war time London and very interesting once you get the style of the narrative worked out.

After our awful weather yesterday morning today has been bonza (Aussie slang for good).
