That Will Do!

Inverleith Pond

Bearing brollies and waterproofs we bussed down to the Botanics for some fresh air and a wander, heading for coffee in the terrace cafe as the rain began, so sat indoors.

The shower was short-lived and over by the time we'd finished and we walked down to the shop to peruse gift opportunities, buying the next clutch of birthday cards, before the shops allocate space to Cxxxxxxxs cards.

From there we wandered over to Inverleith Park and the pond, my photo of a pair of moorhen performing their essential feather maintenance. A short walk took us to the charity shops of Stockbridge where, despite visiting almost every one, I came out with only  one paperback book, another 'cosy crime' which will eventually find its way back in circulation. Then it was a bus up to the Usher Hall to catch our own route home for a spot of lunch.

The afternoon has been spent wrangling with passwords to purchase an item on eBay - it seems the one I remembered was not correct and attempts to register a new one seems to have been overlooked and reverted to an old, expired one so I've cancelled the sale until I get my head round what to do next. Can I say, I hate updating and using multiple passwords, however much security this provides.
