Engine #2719

This old steam engine takes passengers on a scenic tour from Duluth to Two Harbors, MN during the tourist season.
Today the train was one hour late coming into Two Harbors, but we patiently waited for it. OK, so that means it will be an hour leaving, because the passengers have two hours to have some lunch and explore a bit of the town. Our group had a plan to stand on a railroad bridge outside of town as this train passed below. We went out at the time we expected it to leave town and stood by the bridge for almost 2 hours. We still have no idea what the hold-up was. So anyway, as we think we hear the steam engine coming, another train is coming down the tracks of the bridge we want to stand on! Wouldn't you know, after all that waiting, this is what happened!

So on we go. Had a lovely dinner with friends, did some shooting down at the harbor and to bed, because we are meeting early in the morning for sunrise.
