Gooseberry Falls by Moonlight
This photo was taken a few minutes before midnight using only the light of the moon. Our group walked down to the bottom of Gooseberry Falls about 10:15 pm and waited as the moon came up over the tree tops. While we waited we used light-painting to take a few shots. Finally the moon was high enough to use no artificial light with a long exposure. What a fun adventure!
Throughout the day we did some classroom lecture, practice shots at the harbor, chasing a steam locomotive and shooting a ukulele festival/dance. A full day.
