Pop-Up Clouds

The weather forecasters talk about pop-up thunderstorms on these hot, humid days. We saw quite a few clouds on an off today but no rain for our yard.
Blessing of Pets at church this morning with music by Hillbilly Cadillac, a bluegrass band. The service was held outside and there were many dogs, large and small in attendance.
Anna and I met Laura, Mustafa and Mustafa's sisters and nephew at a park/beach this afternoon. We had just gotten settled in and Mustafa and his nephew were doing some swimming when it started to thunder and rain, so we packed up again and went home. Very disappointing. I didn't even have time to get my camera out.
This photo was taken from our back yard. Don and I went for a bike ride this evening. The weather is tolerable if you keep moving and stay on flat ground! Then back into air conditioning again.
