Fire

Driving along the A55 North Wales Expressway towards Llandudno, we spotted a sign that said “Large fire Llandudno, Fire Service aware”. No signs of road closures so we carried on, hoping it wasn’t Venue Cymru that was on fire, as that’s where we were headed for this evenings entertainment. And after a three hour drive, we really didn’t want to have to turn around and head home!
We need not have worried. Well, not too much anyway. No signs of any fires along the front, but when we parked up outside M&S for a bit of shopping, this was the sight we saw behind us!
I’m going to assume that the Fire Service either have it under control, are going to just let it burn out or are praying that the forecast rain arrives sooner rather than later!
Time for a spot of tea now before heading to the theatre to see the musical “Calamity Jane” starring Carrie Hope Fletcher. Looking forward to this modern remake, as I really only know the 1953 film starring Doris Day and Howard Keel!
