Monarch cat

We were able to work this morning. The rain started around noon. It's been raining ever since and is expected to end by midnight. 

Unfortunately the area that needs the rain to help with the forest fire is not getting it. Apparently they had a few showers this afternoon but not enough to help. With the low cloud cover the water bombers were grounded. The helicopters were still in the air, dropping water in places. Some houses have been lost now, the first ones since the fire began. 

I spotted this monarch cat on some milkweed in one of the gardens where we worked today. I started editing the photos that I took on Saturday evening during the sunset cruise, and added a couple of them in the extras.
