Sullivan's Pond concert

There was a free concert at Sullivan's Pond this afternoon. I have been wanting to hear this gal sing in person for the past few years but never had the chance until today. Her name is Brooklyn Blackmore, and her grandmother and I are cousins. She has some videos on YouTube plus her music is available on the streaming apps.
I mentioned it to Stephen on Friday morning, I asked him if anyone would be interested in going to the concert. He put a post in the group and got an immediate response. I was sitting with a group of almost 20 people and there were another 15 people sitting around another tree.

Some much needed rain in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon and evening. We are supposed to get 25 - 35 mm. Unfortunately the area where the wildfire has been burning out of control for over a week is only supposed to get 5 - 10 mm. With the wind we had this weekend, the fire has grown in size again, to over 5000 hectares. Many of my valley friends have been posting photos on FB of the smoke that they can see from their homes. Most of them are still 25+ km away from the fire, but it is still a scary situation.
