Belated birthday present…

Brother Anthony and wife Tanith came for tea, niece Clio and her band played a festival in Southsea yesterday and they went and came over for tea on the way back from seeing Mum for lunch.  Anthony brought a poster of a seminal Bob Dylan concert as a belated present for Vikram. I haven’t got a great picture of it but V was delighted.  

Things were disrupted, as they often are by Rory.  Searching on FindMy to see where his new villa in Guadeloupe was, honest, I found that he was at a hospital so I texted him, hoping that he was visiting or taking someone else in but no, he’d hurt his shoulder having fallen from the top of a fence trying to hang up his hammock early this morning.  He called me back and filled me in.   At that stage he hadn’t had an xray but I was relieved it wasn’t his back.  The story continued to develop and it is a fractured scapula. I hope they don’t send him home early.  Anthony sympathetic as he also has a dodgy shoulder. 

Dinner with friends who live in a stunning position outside West Meon.  We were a bit late as we circled the house getting up-dates from Rory. We ate outside,  meeting some people who live in Exton.  A lawyer and his wife.
