Parachutes

We decided to do a car boot sale this morning. A somewhat last minute decision, but the forecast was good this weekend and we thought there might be more people about because it’s a Bank Holiday weekend.
Well, the weather was certainly fine, and we decided to go to Flookburgh for a change. A lot of cars were there but not so many punters. And those that did turn up later on seemed very reluctant to part with their pennies, despite us only asking 50p or £1 for most things!
Because the site is next to the Lakeland Skydiving Centre, we were able to watch several people hurling themselves out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane for most of the morning. I should point out that they did all safely return to terra firma by parachute lol!
At the end of the day, we did return home with a tiny profit and two empty boxes. Though the latter was more to do with chucking a load of stuff into the bin on the way out of the site…
