Jyväskylä
Steinbock_Travels Day 56
Woke up to a beautiful light mist on the lake, very pretty with all the little boats pulled up on the shore. Mr S made a Zopf for breakfast, it was delicious, the first time we baked bread from scratch in the oven. A long driving day was planned, about 450 km to get close to the west coast. We made a stop at Jyväskylä, nice down at the lake, but the town very modern, and not so interesting. We had to try and find a cash machine, this took a while. We drove past Tampere and Nokia, decided that thy were too big to visit. Then we headed to a campsite, we needed to fill up with water, there weren’t many opportunities anywhere to do this. It was quite lake when we cooked dinner, prawn stir fry with noodles, and it actually almost got dark, for the first time in the last 6 weeks. The campsite at Sastamala was a bit rough somehow, quite a few people living there permanently, but there was a cute beach, and yet again, we could enjoy an incredible sunset. The temperature dropped to about 15 deg C in the night, coolest for a long time.
