Tried and Tested

We spent rather a long time in our local furniture store this morning as son no 1 and his partner were choosing a new bed. Mission accomplished. I had to leave early to attend a meeting about our parish pilgrimage to Salamanca in October. We’re organising a Spanish evening in early September to go over all of the details.
I spent the rest of the day (we had a games night tonight) on shopping, household chores and getting the house ready for our visitors. Our friends Suz and Jean are arriving from France later tonight/early tomorrow morning. Mr P is picking them up at the airport and I’m planning on still being awake to greet them. Struggling now as it’s nearly midnight.
