Parish BBQ

It was lovely to welcome back our friends Suz and Jean early this morning. I managed to wait up for them (they arrived about 2.15am).
Mr P and I were back up again at 8am for Mass. Mr P was part of the organising group for our annual parish BBQ, so he stayed on to set up and then spent the afternoon serving up burgers, chicken and sausages. Much easier afternoon for me. Suzie and Jean.
I didn’t think we’d manage much more food but we did all have a light meal with son no 1 and his partner this evening and then started watching Hostage on Netflix.
Early night for all of us especially Mr P.
