Did some admin and then changed my bedding. Have gone back to white - albeit with a grey embroidered border. Not sure yet whether I like it . Need a couple more throws I think. Made a batch of brownies for tomorrow from D’s recipe. Ji arrived at 12.15 for us to go out for lunch but they weren’t ready to come out of the oven( even though 7 minutes passed the recommended time). Took them out after 20 minutes and left them to cool. Went down to Tiffin for lunch ( my treat as Ji watered my plants whilst I was away) and then back to my house for coffee. Once she’d gone I took the brownies out of the tin. Disaster! They had completely sunk underneath the crust snd other than around the edges the mixture was still raw. Very frustrating- no idea what I did wrong as the oven temperature was as stated and had the right sized tin. Maybe I need to get an oven thermometer to check the temperature of the oven
Cleaned up and then went to b snd q for dome trellis for the wisteria and a couple of new house plants, and then Sainsburys on the way home to buy more eggs etc for baking! Got caught up in heavy traffic on the way home. Had intended to do some planting when I got home- including this sempervinum- but decided against it!
