Drove down the M1 to Crick to meet CL. As usual we met at the nursery. She was determined not to buy anything as she has a hosepipe ban at home, but did succumb to three heathers . They’re not my favourite plants, but those were quite pretty.
I bought a white Wisteria to replace the rose from the front of the house, a thornless blackberry, an unusual white agapanthus, a pot of sempervinum and this unusual tomato plant (reduced to £1!). Sadly the tomatoes aren’t as tasty as I was hoping!
From there we drove round to Pickle and Pie for lunch and a catch up. It was good to see her. Came home via the supermarket and got a few jobs done when I got home
