Seed store

The orange poppies (see 11June) have long since gone. The seed heads have ripened and are now ready to disperse. This one is in front of a hydrangea bloom.

I have been collecting them for a friend who likes to scatter them on walks in the countryside.

Felt good enough today to do the weekly shop - cut the grass and do the ironing.
