Caraway

Finally the time to harvest the caraway, even though the stems were still quite green. The seed was ripe and relatively dry and that's what matters.

Unfortunately it didn't go well. The threshing cylinder got clogged twice and the second time the belt driving it was badly damaged, so it was the end of harvest day one. It turned out to be a little too small a batch for the dryer, so left it to wait for more.
