A Touch of Frustration
In a way, I'm glad today almost done, because it's been rather long and frustrating, so I'm going to do my best not to turn this entry into a rather long rant about everything that's gone wrong today.
On the bright side, Little Man is doing a lot better and has his appetite back, but is more tired and cranky than normal. The tiredness and crankiness became apparent when went to the park so that Little Man could play with some of his friends from church, but we had to leave early because Little Man kept getting into fights with one of his friends about playing with the same tractor toy.
We went home via the supermarket (to get some more ice lollies for Little Man). Then spent the afternoon relaxing together. I've been trying to sort some stuff out but didn't have all the information, and so there's been a lot of going back and forth trying to get advice on what to do, trying to get the right information. Only to find out that I don't have all the information. When I went back to check, the account had reset itself and won't let me sort it out.
Anyway. We're leaving for England on Friday, for the wedding of my cousin, Amanda. She been in a relationship with her almost husband, for 15 years now. He proposed over Christmas 2023 (a few months after Little Man and I moved to the Netherlands). We're going over to on Friday, by ferry, and my parents, who are already in England, will be meeting us in Harwich. The wedding is on Sunday and we'll be coming back to the Netherlands on Monday. I've decided to track the time away, as normal, on PolarSteps, as normal. To follow along, click here.
One of the great things about PolarSteps is that it allows the user to use their phone to track the trip they're on. The user can then add 'steps' along the way, with photos and descriptions of each step. A lot of backpackers, van-lifers and nomads will use this app to share their travels. I'll be posting a lot of my photos over the weekend on there, so feel free to check it out.
