Spent a good few hours at Derwent Water this morning. Got there quite early and left before it got too busy.  I've blipped a lot of Tess in the water recently so here she is today out of the water and posing by a large hole in a tree trunk.  Postcard in extras of Tess in the water!  The lake is quite low at the moment as can be seen in the postcard with the Millennium Stone not surrounded by water.  Also in the postcard is Skiddaw under cloud  with a covering of Heather.  

Came across an interesting activity in Crow Park by the lakeside.  Think it was called Stare Up At Clouds!  There were large cushions for people to lie on and just stare at clouds.  Sunglasses were provided.  Had an interesting chat with the people who had organised it.  I didn't participate myself as had Tess with me.  Something different.
